Blue Pools Glass Murrine Bowl

A sculptural kiln-fused glass bowl evoking the depth and movement of water held in stillness.

This piece is composed of hundreds of individually hand-pulled and cut vitrigraph murrine elements, arranged in a radiating concentric design of royal blue, amber, vanilla, and clear glass. Each layer is meticulously composed before being kiln-fused into a single, seamless form, then sandblasted to create a soft, matte surface that invites touch as much as it draws the eye.

Subtle variations in tone and pattern ensure every bowl is entirely unique—no two will ever be the same.

Handmade in my North Yorkshire studio using Bullseye Glass.
