In the Grey Glass Murrine Bowls

A sculptural glass form exploring contrast, softness, and structure through layered tones of grey, warm white, and clear glass.

Each bowl is composed of hundreds of individually hand-pulled and cut vitrigraph murrine elements, some with a striped center,carefully arranged into a random composition. The piece is then kiln-fused into a single seamless form, creating depth and subtle internal movement within the glass.

The surface is sandblasted to achieve a soft matte finish, enhancing its tactile quality while diffusing light across the form. Each bowl is cold-worked and finished by hand, resulting in smooth edges balanced against a gently textured surface.

Each piece is entirely unique due to the handmade process.
