Malachite Glass Murrine Trinket Dish

This handmade green fused glass trinket dish forms part of the Malachite Glass Murrine Series, inspired by the intricate natural patterns of malachite crystals.

Individually hand-pulled and cut vitrigraph murrine elements are arranged in a radiating design using Teal, Forest Green, Mint, Grey and Aventurine Green glass. The piece is kiln-fused into a seamless form before being sandblasted to create a soft matte finish.

Its compact size makes it ideal for holding jewellery, keys or other small items, while its distinctive pattern also makes it a decorative piece of contemporary glass art.

Handmade in my North Yorkshire studio using Bullseye Glass.
