Nebulous Green Glass Murrine Bowls

This handmade Nebulous Green fused glass bowl is an individual piece of contemporary glass art, created using hand-pulled vitrigraph murrine in my North Yorkshire studio.

Layers of coloured glass are drawn into murrine cane, cut into individual sections and carefully arranged before being kiln-fused into a seamless bowl. The resulting pattern creates depth, movement and subtle variations of colour within the glass.

Each piece is individually made and finished by hand, so no two bowls are exactly alike. The combination of functional form, intricate pattern and the distinctive murrine process makes this a unique piece of contemporary fused glass art.
