Green Circles Glass Murrine Bowl

Green Circles is a handmade fused glass bowl inspired by the rhythm and layered patterns of natural forms.

Green, French Vanilla and clear Bullseye Glass are transformed into individually hand-pulled vitrigraph murrine elements and arranged into an intricate patterned composition. The elements are carefully composed before being kiln-fused into a seamless glass bowl, creating depth, movement and luminosity within the glass.

The finished piece is cold-worked to create a smooth refined edge while retaining a tactile surface rich in texture and detail.

Dimensions

• Approximately 17 cm at its widest point

• Approximately 7 cm deep

Handmade in my North Yorkshire studio, every bowl is unique.
