In the Grey Glass Murrine Bowls

This handmade grey fused glass bowl explores contrast, softness and structure through layered tones of grey, warm white and clear glass.

Hundreds of individually hand-pulled and cut vitrigraph murrine elements are carefully arranged into a unique composition before being kiln-fused into a seamless glass form. The surface is sandblasted to create a soft matte finish, while the bowl is cold-worked and finished by hand to create a smooth edge and tactile surface.

Subtle differences in pattern and colour make every bowl unique.

Handmade in my North Yorkshire studio using Bullseye Glass.
