Malachite Green Murrine Fused Glass Bowl

Malachite Glass Murrine Bowl Series

This handmade green fused glass bowl is individually kiln-formed in my North Yorkshire studio using hundreds of hand-pulled vitrigraph murrine elements.

Inspired by the intricate patterns and natural beauty of malachite crystals, the bowl combines Teal, Forest Green, Mint, Grey and Aventurine Green Bullseye Glass in a radiating concentric design. Each element is carefully cut and arranged before being fused into a seamless glass vessel. The surface is then sandblasted to create a soft, tactile matte finish.

Subtle variations in colour and pattern make every bowl completely unique, so no two pieces are exactly the same.
